Persons will be considered as 'Adoptive Parronts' only if they have experience/knowledge of parrots of all sizes and are ready to commit to being owned by a Fid (feathered kid).

Prospective adoptive parronts must agree that their bird will be pampered with LOVE, a clean cage/home that is size appropriate, good home cookin', healthy foods, toys, treats, and an excellent avian vet. Adoptive parronts must be willing to sign an adoption contract and they MUST pass the Feather-Land test ...i.e., gut instincts.

Adoptive parronts must be a good fit and be willing to take on the committment of being a Birdie Parront!

All babies are completely weaned, fledged, and have learned to fly with "recall" skills before adoption. The chicks stay with their parents until approx. 3 months old. They are allowed to be "birds" first and "pets" second. That is why it is so important that they are co-parented.
